You sold your last listing quickly, for a great price! Your clients think you\u2019re the greatest and recommend you to their friend, Ricky-Bobby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Does Ricky-Bobby call you immediately?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nope!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First, he consults \u2018The Google.\u2019 He wants to gather some Intel before he calls anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wouldn\u2019t you<\/em>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n ——————–<\/p>\n\n\n\n What will he find? What is your online presence? <\/p>\n\n\n\n (Hopefully, you\u2019ve got several glowing Google reviews, at least. But that\u2019s another topic.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n After a bit of sleuthing, Ricky-Bobby locates your website. Now, ask yourself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Does your website clearly articulate WHO you are, WHAT you stand for, and WHY your potential client should hire you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n No?<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s confirmed. Your website sucks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ——————–<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ricky-Bobby looks at your website, and he\u2019s massively unimpressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He decides to call your arch-enemy Gil Thorpe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Gil sells the property for top dollar and collects a sweeeet commission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n But you\u2019re not mad. You know why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because you have no clue that listing could have been yours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ——————–<\/p>\n\n\n\n How many times has this happened to you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fifty? A hundred?<\/p>\n\n\n\n There\u2019s no way to know how many potential clients almost <\/em>called but didn\u2019t<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If this gives you anxiety, that\u2019s good news!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maybe now you\u2019ll finally do something about your sucky website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ——————–<\/p>\n\n\n\n Oh, wait. You thought I was going to tell you HOW to fix your website in this tiny blog post?<\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s impossible. Stop looking for magic pills. They don\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But here\u2019s an important hint. (Sorry if this is repetitive, but it needs to sink in):<\/p>\n\n\n\n Does your website clearly articulate WHO you are, WHAT you stand for, and WHY the potential client should hire you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n No? Okay, start there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Remember, your website is the HUB of all your marketing efforts. It\u2019s where people go to find out more about you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n You need to give them the information they want in a way that makes them think, \u201cThis is the person I want to hire.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n ——————–<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here\u2019s a \u201cside-story\u201d about the origin of this blog post:<\/p>\n\n\n\n When I was writing the Agent Skills Master\u2019s Program, it wasn\u2019t simply about spewing what I already knew.
